Pregnant? Explore Your Options.
Seeing two lines on a test can bring a lot of emotions. We get it! If your test results came back positive, your next few steps are important. You can always expect compassionate care and discreet, cost-free services here - no matter what.
If you have a positive home test, the questions we hear the most are:
Do I need an ultrasound?
An ultrasound is an important health and safety step. An ultrasound can tell you:
-
How far along you are (the approximate age of your pregnancy), which can determine the available pregnancy options
-
If the pregnancy is viable and if there is a potentially life-threatening ectopic (tubal) pregnancy
-
If your pregnancy is developing under normal conditions
-
Whether or not you are carrying a single fetus or multiples (depending on gestational age)
If I want an abortion, is it safe to order pills online? Is anyone eligible?
The FDA does not recommend ordering abortion pills online due to a lack of safety measures and potentially laced drugs. DIY abortions or trying to induce a miscarriage at home can land you in the hospital. Whether it's via drugs or a surgery, an abortion is a medical procedure, and doctor oversight is encouraged. Please don't risk your health and safety.
Not everyone is eligible for abortion pills. Restrictions include health history, the type of pregnancy, how far along you are, and more. Learn more about side effects, potential allergic reactions, what to expect if it fails, and more.
If you are considering abortion, an ultrasound can confirm the location of the pregnancy, estimate your due date, rule out an ectopic pregnancy, and verify if the pregnancy is viable. While we do not provide or refer for abortion services, we can share the free resources and aid available to you during and after your pregnancy.
